VideoTutorial: 10 Ways with Books Part3

And last post about the new video'10 Creative Ways with Books': I've told you there were lot of photos! (here part1 and part2)

The first project is a junk book made out of a book cover, Midori style. What is a junk book? Well, do you have leftovers papers or loose blank cardstock or even commercial leaflet you want to keep and use to Art Journaling on? A junk book is a place where you can collect all this kind of stuff. I put inside this one a bunch of gelli printed envelopes made a while ago, an accordion mini journal made also last year and some book pages.

Front and back are covered with gel prints from two previous projects (you can guess how many leftovers I have...)
You can draw or stamp or print straight on book pages, and even frame them and create a lovely collection.
To draw these flowers I followed simple tutorials on Instagram, please have a look at @bonjournal_ and be inspired.
And last but not least, some useful treat bags made just folding some book pages, suitable to keep ephemera, tags, die cuts to give to a friend.
You can sew them or use washi tape to close them.

I love the little pockets and pouches, especially easy with washi xxx

Amazing post full of inspiration, as always. Your layered pages are fabulous - so cheerful and uplifting - and your bookpage botanical drawings are completely delightful. This post made me happy!
