Video Tutorial Alcohol Inks Card Holder and ATCs

Happy New Year everyone and welcome back!! Here we are with new stencils and a new video tutorial. I've designed these tiny ATC size Gothic arches back in December, but I didn't have the chance to show it before. So, with no further ado, let's start this creative 2021 with alcohol inks , ATCs and ATC's holder:

VideoTutorial: ATC Holder with GelliArts® and Stencils

Hello everyone! When I designed the ATC stencil set I wanted a nice package where to keep it for all my lovely customers. So I designed this little matchbox perfect to hold several ATCs not just my stencils. In this new video I show you how to create from scratch this Artist Trading Card holder, made out of gel print, stencil and heavy cardstock.

In the video I show you how to use to perfection these detailed face stencils:

Inkurable sea!

For this month's challenge on Inkurable Stampers: Down by the sea!
I started to make a step by step of the matchbox, but after a while I've stopped, I'don't know why. So, these are the first steps:

I cut on a white cardstock a matchbox ATC size:

Mmmm...
I put some objects upon it and sprayed glimmer mist yellow, lime and turquoise:

After that, I put a thin layer of gesso, and background is ready.

I glued the image, Botticelli's Venere, transferred on a clear tape, some "real" fake coral pieces, beads, and pieces of mirror. Then, I've stamped the word Art and some starfishes.

After a while, the image of Venere was full of air bubbles...aaaaaargh!

Speaking about Botticelli, a sneak peak from the creation for Italy on Sunday, for next challenge:

Parola d'ordine: Ordine!

Ogni tanto mi decido a mettere ordine fra le ATC, che di solito tengo sparpagliate per la casa, finite, non finite, swappate, tutte in allegro disordine! E cosi' mi e' capitato fra le mani l'ultimo raccoglitore che ho fatto..e mi sono vergognata! Quindi gli ho fatto un bel re-styling:

Sono sempre partita dai soliti due cartoncini (qui la versione da "brava ragazza") ma questa volta anziche' ricoprire di carta scrap ho dato la solita mano di gesso, attaccato ritagli di libri,spruzzato-tamponato in grande quantita', acrilicato e appiciccato quello che mi veniva in mente (e si vede!;-))

Io, che ho le palpitazioni quando devo fare 2 ATC, e mi sento male quando devo partecipare agli swap con 5 o 6 ATC questa volta ne ho fatte addirittura 12!!

Ho preso ispirazione dalla geniale Emilia, ed ecco il mio calendario-ATC per il 2009!

Ho impiegato pochissimo tempo: gli sfondi sono fatti tamponando con una salvietta i Distress-Ink, ho poi attaccato un trasferello e degli abbellimenti.

Galline, cucito e Sdb...

Per caso qualche giorno fa , mi sono imbattuta in un bellissimo blog, gia' il nome e' troppo simpatico, si chiama Galline in Fuga, e' pieno di idee specialmente sul cucito creativo, immagini e risorse varie. Non basta, c'e' anche un forum , una delle amministratrici si chiama Elena e pure lì si trovano un sacco di risorse per il pc, schemi a punto croce etc.
Meno male che io adoro cucire ma non sono caduta nel vortice del cucito creativo, per adesso mi accontento del feltro, che e' fine e non impegna.
Fra le altre ho scaricato delle immagini che mi hanno ispirato per fare due ATC, l'idea e' convincere Elena a buttarsi sullo scrap e in particolare le ATC...Elenaaaaaa!

Poi, sfogliando delle vecchie riviste di scrap italiane (qualcuno si ricorda? Si chiamava Tecniche Creative e non era niente male) ho scoperto la tecnica della SdB:

Inoltre gli sfondi rimangono tutti vellutati e profumati...


Avete capito di che si tratta? Naturalmente su internet c'e' tutto...e quindi qui la soluzione del mistero (blog nuovissimo ma mooooolto interessante).
