Tutorial Shadow Box 'Sing!' with Visible Image

Hello everyone! Today I show you how to make a 3D wooden card that can be used as home decor... Well, I mean, take a box without a lid and you are sort of ready ;-)

I used a striking, energetic stamp set 'Sing' by Visible Image and lot of gilding flakes, I thing the result is quite dazzling!

Tutorial:

Cut to size a piece of black cardstock, to fit in the bottom of the shadow box and sponge with gilding glue through the stencil Strobes

Pour a pretty amount of gilding flakes

And brush the excess out with a soft brush

Stamp on white cardstock the lady from the set 'Sing' by Visible Image 

Stamp and emboss in gold the sentiment from the same stamp set

Paint with black acrylic paint or gesso the wooden box and adhere all the elements

Tutorial: Kraft Wrapped Journal 'Eye' with Visible Image

I must confess: I couldn't resist getting more Visible Image stamps during the infamous Black Friday: let's say it is a sort of celebration, because last year, same time, I got my first VI stamps and now I am on their design team! I  used this magnicent 'See Everything' stamp set on kraft paper on a wrapped journal cover and I love the effect I got:

To make this card I cut to size a piece of kraft cardstock and stamped the eye with Versamark using 'See Everything' stamp set

I poured white embossing powder and melted with a heat gun

I mixed in a palette a bit of mica powder with water, and with a small brush I painted some details

I also splattered some drops arounds

Then I added a sentiment with black embossing powder from the Brave and Strong sentiment stamp set

I adhered the panel to a wrapped hand-made journal.

Tutorial: Altered clock with Visible Image

It's a clock! A couple of years ago a friend of mine gave me this simple glass clock, and I think it was high time to give it a new look and hanging proud in my craftroom: in this project I feature the cool 'The Right Direction' stamp set by Visible Image, perfect for any masculine card or craft project. 

How cute the tiny cars on the clock hands are:

And here the feminine version, couldn't resist!

Here I used the magnificent Beautiful Soul stamp set :

And a sentiment from 'Believe in me' stamp set

Tutorial: 

Disassemble the clock and cut a piece of white cardstock to size:

Swipe two colours of Distresss Oxide on a plastic sleeve, spray water and swipe the cardstock face down. Dry a bit with the heat gun and repeat with two different colors. Carry on until you are happy with the result:

Now stamp the car and the London skyline on opposite corners from the stamp set 'The Right Direction'

Add some stencilled details to the background (looks a lot like a F1 flag!) using 'Distorted Chess' and Distress Oxide:

Adhere to the glass and mount the clock mechanism.

Tutorial: ArtBook with Beautiful Soul stamp by VisibleImage

Have you seen the new Autumn stamp release by VisibleImage? I am in love with them, from the masculine ones to the sentiment sets  and one especially stole my heart: I got crazy for 'Beautiful Soul' because it is simply stunning, and my mind is buzzing with ideas how to use it.
I made a new spread in my beloved round book and in this post I show you also how to reverse a stamp:

Stamp with Archival Ink the woman profile from 'Beautiful Soul' stamp set

Stamp it again on a piece of tissue paper: remember to tear the paper around the image not cutting with the scissor, so the edges will blend with the background.

Flip it over and adhere to the book page with matte gel medium, brushing the medium under and above the tissue paper

I didn't ink the stamp inside the woman's hair so I drewn some lines and lettering instead

Sponge Distress Inks or Oxides through the stencil Strobe, masking the woman

Add some journaling along the borders.

Tutorial Typewriter Card with Visible Image

I love old typewriter! Welcome to my Saturday tutorial with Visible Image stamps: today I create a couple of simple cards using one of my favourite set One Kind Word.

I've made two versions, on white cardstock and using a book page:

Tutorial:

Stamp on a piece of cardstock the typwriter from the set 'One kind word', stamp it also on scrap paper and cut it out.

with this one mask the typewriter

lay the stencil Geometric Maze and dab with a sponge several colours of Distress Oxides

lift up the stencil

add a sentiment, here I used the sentiment stamp set Own It!

for the second card I used the stencil Count me in and a sentiment stamp from the typewriter set
