Mixed media Panel with Old Paintbrushes

The very day before moving and leave my beloved craftroom (sniff sniff) I made a little panel using some old paintbrushes and some even older paint-tubes (from the nineties, methink). I usuall cover this kind of collage with black gesso or white gesso, this time I made an experiment: I use white gesso on the upper side and black gesso on the bottom, blending them in the middle.
Il giorno prima di trasferirmi e lasciare la mia adorata craft-room, ho creato un mini pannello in MDF, riciclando dei vecchi pennelli e degli ancora più vecchi tubetti di tempere. Di solito per questi tipi di collage uso o il gesso nero o il gesso bianco, stavolta ho sperimentato usando il gesso nero in basso e poi poi l'ho sfumato col bianco sulla parte alta.

Un pezzetto di garza e pasta cracklè per fare lo sfondo.
For the background I used a piece of cheese-cloth and cracklè paste.
