GelliArts® Artist and gelli plate Magazine images transfer technique

Well the news has spilled out.....I'm a GelliArts® Artist !!
And I would never ever believed that such a thing would happened to me and to my gelli plate, until I got the gelli plate fever like ehm two months ago caused by Birgit Koopsen's challenge on Instagram. I am pretty happy about it, this is bit challenging but still opens a new world of possibilities. So, stay tuned here and on Gelli Arts® blog and Gelli Arts® YouTube channel.
Last blog post for #31daysofgelprinting is all about a technique explained in a wonderful video by Birgit that you can watch here: the image magazine transfer technique. Useless to say I failed this technique for days, and then I finally found the right magazine (MarieClaire) and right amount and brand of acrylic paint( best ones  DecoArt Media line and Liquitex Basics).

And these are prints from another prompt: Ghost Print (it's the second print you can pull from your plate): I used magazine images to print on, because I was trying the transfer technique above and none of these images worked. I used one of these to make the cover of the Midori Gel Printed MiniAlbum, and I' m going to use them on my future ArtJournal pages and collages:

I am so happy for you and it is an honour well earned because your prints are absolutely fantastic! I'd love to see how you do the prints over the pictures: do you wipe away some paint afterward to reveal more of the faces?

I love how you used the gelli prints with the magazine images. I will try it on a journal I quit working on. your work is lovely your mini book and the strip are all so different. Good luck with getting italian women interested.
