Magic interference

First all I would like to thank all the lovely ladies who attended my courses on Sunday and Monday at CraftBarn, and the lovely and attentive staff in the shop (sorry I don't have many pictures because I couldn't bring my camera with me. :-():
These are the artwork I taught and  everyone made very different and interesting versions:
The Distress Ink Pad holder:
And a canvas, made with my stencils, handmade 3D embellishments, and Gelatos:
We'll see again in UK  in September!!:-)

Back to this week DT stuff, this week at CraftBarn we used a brand new product by Decoart, the Interference paints. At first I was puzzled about how they work, because every bottle is similar to each other, no colours.
I painted my box in black and when I brushed the interferences paints I didn't want to stop. They are magic! It's like a colourful patina of shimmering. If you are into paint and texturized surface I really recommend them to you.
Here's the step by step

I altered a flat box to contain my 6x6 stencils:
Materials I used:
DecoArt Mixed Media Fluid Acrylic Paints: Gold Interference, Magenta Interference, Blue Interference, Violet Interference
PaperArtsy Rubber Stamp: Lynne Perrella Collection 007
Tim Holtz Embellishments
Tando Creative: Oriental Fan - Small and Medium
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paints: Little Black Dress
