Cat, Fabric and .../Gatti, stoffa e...

Some couple of days ago I stumbled on a beautiful post about cat lovers: not only the craft projects but also the words inspired me so much (spent 5 minutes on reading it, for cat lovers it worths it :-)).
Soooo the same evening, I made a little-crazy-fast project to add pizzaz to my black laptop. I luv it!

3) ingessare

4) spruzzare con inchiostri e stencils e stampare

Ed infine INCOLLARE! Senza pensarci due volte!

Four step:
1) print from the post the cat silouhette and cut it
2) glue some pieces of paper leftovers
3) gesso
4) spray inks through some stencil
GLUEEEEEE to the laptop!(don't think twice!)

And speaking about fabric: I lost my kindle case...where-where is it? Dunno! Soooooooo I needed a new one for me and a one for my friend Gina.

I found out the an A4 size (210×297 cm/8.3×11.7 in) is perfect to make an orizontal Kindle case. The fastest technique to make these fabric case is :
1) cut a piece of canvas A4 size
2) spray inks and stamp on a long strip of fabric
3) glue the fabric to the piece of canvas and trim the excess
 4) fold in 3 and sew two sides of the canvas along with a strip of batting. Done!!
Fatto!

I participate on the challenge: Simon says stamp and show What are you known for? I think I well known for altering everything, my love for cats, and my passion for colourful sewed pieces!

Hi Gio, so many apologies for being missing lately. I soooo love your cat on your laptop - I've just been weighing up the lid on mine and wondering what I can glue onto it, lol :-)! I LOVE your kindle case and you've made it look so easy, so I may just have to have a go and make one for my mobile phone. Your journal pages are fabulous, I love the moon one in particular. You are so talented Gio, and so very inspiring!
