Mask, challenge and texture!

Today it's started the new forthnightly challenge on CraftBarn and theme is stencils and masks. There's a chance to win a 20£ voucher to spend on the shop ! So, are you ready to get messy?
Here's my interpretation:
Ecco la mia interpretazione:

I altered an AJ cover, using one of the 19 techiques taught on "Timeworn Techniques" Andy Skinner's online course. It's starting a new session and there's still time to register here. I'll be there, along with other crafters from all over the world!

I also participate on the last challenge on Simonsaysstamp and show some texture!

And speaking about altering, I was fed up to see every day that sloppy scales in my bathroom:

E quindi adesso e' così:
So, now it looks like this:

Recipe:
-paint the scales with acrylic paint (pink is better, of course)
-doodle some flowers with a black permanent marker (clearly inspired by Alisa Burke)
-add some dots with white acrylic paint
-cover all sides wish washi tape or similar
-protect with a thin layer of modpodge

Ricetta:

Next thing to alter: the toilet seats!!:-)

Your cover is burning!! (:o) Wow..what an amazing texture, love your colour combination as always and the stunning embellishment on front. Your sloppy scale looks welcoming now...if you really want to know your weight*lol* but..it's too beautiful now, to hide in a cupboard. Hopefully we can meet in a workshop once together...again
