Video Tutorial: Tiny Booklets with Alcohol ink on Fabric

And here we are again! This time with the mini booklets featured in the video 'Mini Booklets with alcohol ink on fabric'. These are super cute and easy to make, this technique is really forgiving:

I used my favourite stencils, available in my Etsy shop:
Inside I put, through the elastic bands, some old, small gel prints folded in half:

Hand-made Midori with Colourful Leaves

Lately I've been slight obsessed with the stencil I designed a while ago 'Leaves Galore', I use it everywhere and I have a growing collection of backgrounds made with it, mainly gel printed or made with Distress Oxides. Well, what to do with them? A Midori with matching handmade notebooks of course!
The back cover is made with Ranger Resist spray and Distress Oxide (here a short process video)
On the left I sponged Distress Oxide through the stencil, on the right I gel printed with archival ink pads.
Stencil available in my Etsy store :-)

Video Tutorial: 10 Creative Ways to use your Gel Prints Part2

And here we are with part2 of my new video '10 Creative Ways to use your Gel Prints':

Die cuts like there's no tomorrow: leftovers can became gorgeus embellishments for a card or scrapbooking layout:

A delicate print can turn into a matchbox notes holder:
Or you can put your prints into a laminator (or cover with clear adhesive sheet) to create from scratch a faux Midori cover:
Inside the Midori, two handmade notebook made, of course, of gel prints:
And least but not last how many prints and leftovers you can use to create a mini album? A lot!

See you next time. Be creative! :-)

Alice in Wonderland and Giulietta Midori

Hello everyone, you know how much I love making Midoris or faux-dori and I used to sell them on my Etsy shop. But lately I focused more on my line of stencil so I neglected other stuff.
A lovely previous owner of one of my Midori asked for another one to give to her daugter: she requested a Midori inspired by one of my ArtJourmal's (or book journal) page from two years ago and since I was there why not make a second one Alice themed? Well, she got both of them! I was super happy, of course :-)
And you, which one do you prefer? Giulietta or Alice?
To make the Midori and notebook cover I made some gel prints and laser cut a couple of Alice silhouettes (or you can use my 'Alice in Giogioland 'stencil set) out of them.

I adhered a piece of pink net to the cardstock cover and put through the laminator.
