99 Prints: Tweaking Botanical Prints

Did I quit this 99 prints project? Quite...I will never be able to make 99 prints before the end of the year, I know, shame on me :-D. Anyway, from the batch of eco printed fabric I picked the worst ones and tweak them a little bit with my beloved Gelli printing plate. This is the result:

99 Prints Part 4: Alcohol inks on Canvas

And here we are with 4 new prints for my year long craft project '99 Prints'. This time I played with alcohol inks on canvas. Since I discovered cyanotype prints I found out that I don't have any nice real leaves to use to make impressions, so I designed them: I created a set of 3 leaves stencils, and I used them also here with alcohol inks. I love them!

99 Prints Part 3: Distress Oxides

And here we are! 4 more prints...My creative mojo is a bit low lately, but, fortunately, Distress Oxides never disappoint, so I've made these prints in no time, it was years since the last time I've made backgrounds with those one. I remember when these were all the rage, like 4 or 5 years ago. And I was crazy about using them.

99 Prints: Crystal Pigments

My 99 Prints project is going sloooowly forward, no stress :-) Still in my comfort zone, this time I played with joy with one of my favourite medium: crystal pigments, such as Pixie, Infusions and Nuvo Shimmer Powders: the result is always unpredictable and most of the time pretty beautiful:

99 Prints: Let's start!

Happy New Year everyone! YES, I set my mind on a creative, one year long project, coveted for a long time. I really needed something to push me to create, experiment, use new and old stuff, have fun again with paint and colours, I CAN DO IT!! There's no deadline (well, except to finish by 2023), no pressure, no rules, I can make one print or 10 in one session, whatever I feel like. This time I was able to make 9 prints because I applied my favourite technique, used faves paints, faves hand-made tools, easy peasy, next time...who knows. There's a short video process at the end, enjoy :-) 

This one is made cleaning the gel plate at the end, no paint is wasted:
