Tutorial: A mini village out of salvaged wood

So, lately I have a wooden stove and the temptation to save some wooden pieces to make something pretty is too strong to resist! A very easy project, made with salvaged wooden blocks, book pages and Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos. Gelatos are just free mess and so easy to use.

It started like that:
And you can see the full tutorial here:
Qui il tutorial:
Cover with Whipped Spackle using a an old credit card
Ricoprire con pasta embossing
Miniwoodenvillage2
When dry color with Gelatos Pastel kit
Quando asciutto colorare con i Gelatos
Stamp or draw windows and doors
Stampare o disegnare porte e finestre
Miniwoodenvillage4
Cut out from old book pages the roof and doodle some details
Tagliare da delle pagine di libro delle strisce per fare i tetti
Miniwoodenvillage6
Glue the details with Gel medium, and add more details with the white pen
Incollare i tetti e aggiungere qualche doodle

Materials I used:
Gelatos® Colors 15ct: PASTELS
Whipped Spackle
Essential PITT Artist Pens BLACK
Essential Textural Accents Gel Medium
PITT big brush artist pen - White

I would like to enter the latest challenge on Stamps and stencils challenge blog : Trash to treasure.

This project is clearly inspired by the beautiful islands and coastal towns that Italy is famous for:
Questo progetto è ispirato dalle coloratissime piccole città che costellano le nostre coste, qui Bosa, in Sardegna.
This is Bosa, one of the priettest town here in Sardinia, few km from where I live. Visit Sardinia!:-)
