Tutorial Crackled Mini Bottles with lace, buttons....

This month I am the honoured host of the new challenge at CraftyIndividuals blog 'Lace, Buttons, Bits and bobs': I altered a couple of minibottles containing...buttons of course!
After
I would like to participate on the Country View challenges: Be inspired by BOTTLES

How I made these mini bottles:
-Cover the bottle with a thick layer of clear crackle paint
-When perfectly dry, cover with a layer of gel medium to avoid the crackle from crumbling
and give an opaque look
-When still wet adhere bits of lace and set aside to dry
-Spray with your favourite mists
-In the meantime gesso some book pages.
-Stamp several tags using CI and cut them out
-Colour the stamped images with Gelatos and a detailer paintbrush
-Colour the lid with alcohol ink and adhere the stamped image to the bottle

I also made two courful cards:
With a super helper :-)

Your altered bottles are simply charming, Gio - whimsical and so pretty (do come and play with us at Country View Crafts if you would like - the theme is Inspired by Bottles, so it's perfect!). Lovely cards too. I know where to come when I need some happy colour! Happy New Year to you!
