On the desk

On the desk is the weekly theme at CraftBarn. I made from scratch a cover for a planner,  inspired by the Typography Graphic45 papers.
Here you can download the PDF instructions.
Sulla scrivania è il nuovo tema per questa settimana su CraftBarn.IO ho creato un copri agenda da riciclare magari per qualche anno. Qui le istruzioni da scaricare in PDF.
I used clock parts , chipboards, ruler, pencils, charms...
The step by step:
1- Cut two rectangles from a cereal box and another one from Grunge Paper to make the spine.
2- Glue them together to form a cover for your agenda. Bend the grunge paper.
3- Glue some book pages to the spine
4- Cut and glue some images from the Graphic45 Typography papers to the cover.
5- Glue lots of charms, micro beads, a mini pencils, chipboards and watch parts with some embossing paste. Set aside to dry thoroughly.
6- Gesso everything.
7- Paint with DecoArt Traditions Artist Acrylic: Transparent yellow iron oxide and Quinacridone Gold.
8- Spray with Cosmic Shimmer Mister: Bronze Blush to add shimmer. Highlight the raised areas with different colours of Dreamweaver metallic F/X mica powders.
Materials I used:

Graphic 45 - Typography: Imagine, Dream
Pebeo Studio acrylic auxiliaries: Gesso 500 ml
Dreamweaver embossing paste: Translucent
DecoArt Traditions Artist Acrylic: Quinacridone Gold, Transparent yellow iron oxide
Cosmic Shimmer Mister: Bronze Blush, Gold Finch,
Dreamweaver metallic F/X: Eye of the tiger, Glacier Lake, Plum Royal

And since I really liked the idea I made another one, inspired by the Steampunk  Debutante Graphic45 papers:

And the second prompt for the :
Nuove parole  "Silenzio" e "Abbagliante" per il :

Quotes & Lyrics challenge (Citazioni e Canzoni)

The new words are SILENCE and/or DAZZLE

Gio those are amazing cover.
I keep two planners, one more of a journal for notes and ideas and the other is a diary planner. I do alter the covers but never made one such as these - love the detail.

Appena mi ripiglio dallo svenimento forse riuscirò a scrivere pure io "Wooooooowwwwwowowowow"!!! Daniela
