Per fare il calendario per CraftBarn, ho usato dei pezzi di elenco telefonico (ancora circolano per casa), casette Tando, timbri Katzelcraft e un po' di spruzzini Cosmic:
My birthday's month! For this week's theme at Craftbarn I used piece of old directories, mists, Tando's little houses and a beautiful stamp from Katzelcraft.

We are in late October, looking at this sunny page I can dream about a 2012 summery, holiday-sh July..may I say, can't wait! This time, for the Crafbarn's calendar, I tinted white fabric and embossed it with a CraftConcept embossing folder. Guardando questa paginetta non posso che pensare al prossimo luglio, solare, vacanziero, non vedo l'ora!! Per l'occasione ho rispolverato la mia cuttlepasta con le mascherine da embossing della CraftConcept. Dopo qualche settimana dopo avere mandato il vetrino in Inghilterra, mi hanno scritto che era arrivato rotto: che delusione! Pero' mi hanno chiesto se potevo farne uno uguale. Meno male avevo degli abbellimenti simili, e quindi ne ho fatto un altro...Una volta arrivato mi hanno scritto, che stavolta era arrivato tutto intero. Mi sono sentita molto sollevata.
Ogni mese c'e' un timbro in regalo, e questa volta mi ha molto ispirato:
There's a funny story behind this publication: when they ask me the piece I send it them straight away, but a couple of weeks later they wrote to me saying that the altered slide was arrived broken. I was so sad about it. But they ask me a new one, I was lucky I had at home similar embellishments, and then I made a new one. They wrote me saying that time is was arrived safely, and I was so relieved...
On every issue there's a free stamp, I was very inspired, so here' s my altered dominoes:

Questa settimana per il calendario CraftBarnoso mi sono scatenata con le mascherine e le magiche paste della Dreamweaver: potevo io non scegliere la mascherina con i 3 gatti? Nooooooo!
This week for the CraftBarn's calendar we choose to use Dreamweaver pastes and stencils. I coulnd't help to pick the cats stencil and playing with the crackle' paste. This is the result:
Qualche tempo fa ho ricevuto una mail nella quale era scritto: "Gio, ti mando io una cosetta da alterare!" E qualche settimana dopo la gentile e talentuosa Analia mi manda questa:

A couple of days ago I fell in love with this little cute project from the well known Cynthia Shaffer:a mug rug. I have to make my own version straight away!
So, in a couple of hours, I gathered two squares of hand painted fabric, a piece of batting and a piece of felt, and I made my own mug placemat(I needed it so much, I'm a tea lover!):

I wanted to do a second one with a turquoise heart, but I had only a rectangular felt leftover, with two edges...so I saw a cat on it!
Prima ho cucito a mano il cuore, poi ho cucito il tutto con la macchina da cucire.
Volevo fare il secondo col cuore turchese, ma avevo solo un pezzettino rettangolare di feltro con due punte su un lato: piu' o meno un gatto =^.^=!
Quanto ho tribolato per questa paginetta... non ero mai contenta e poi mi sembrava troppo rosa...Anyway, dopo tanta fatica ho deciso comunque di proporla cosi' com'era...
Ho usato i fantastiliardici timbri di Crafty Individuals per CraftBarn, pluriball e poco altro.
It's May at CrafBarn! I admit I put lots of effort on this page, I didn't like it too much, I found it too pink, too messy, don't know... Anyway, with the help of two beautiful stamp from CraftyIndividuals, bubble wrap and Fresco acrylic paints, here's my page:

Un piccolo tutorial per la versione in nero:
take two dominoes (mine are the cheapest on the market, the black type), a black cardstock stripe same height of the domino, stamps, Ranger Perfect medium, mica powders, lace, tiny images :
ho preso due domino (un po' sfigati lo so), una striscia di cartoncino nero, pizzi, polveri iridescenti, immagini piccole piccole stampate al pc, Ranger Perfect medium (non so forse va bene anche il Versamark)
Stamp with Perfect medium and put some mica powders with the help of a paintbrush on the stamped image:
Ho stampato con il Perfect medium e subito ho aggiunto la polverine con un pennellino.
Spritz some water to fix the powder:
Ho spruzzato con un po' d'acqua per fissarle.
Glue the tiny images and some microbeads. Add the lace (mine is coloured with pink VersaCraft):
Ho incollato le immagini , microperle e il pizzo:
Glue the cardstock to the domino, along with a ribbon to close the domino(a long one is enough)
Ho incollato il cartoncino al domino, insieme con un nastrino (ne basta uno lungo per chiudere il domino)
Yesterday at last I found the real white dominoes at the local toy shop, I made this shot:
