Welcome back everyone! This a first post of many introducing my new set of stencil: it's been a while I wanted to design a round set so finally is here: 3 stencils inspired by 3 beautiful Italian church's rosette and one inspired by a Sardinian jewel, that I love!
OK, let's start with a new video tutorial, you know I have a soft spot for upcycling and this time I gave a new life to an old book cover. It was meant to hold the minialbum from the #marchprintingchallenge, but then I found out it was too thin, so I made a second smaller and thicker one (I confess I like this one more):
This is the large book featured in the video:
This is the smaller one with the minialbum inside, it fits perfectly :-)
Fort the inside lining I created two gel prints using the new stencils and fabric flowers
And let me introduce you the new designs, available in my Etsy shop, including a larger size of the 'Tonara' (designed for the 2020 Advent Calendar) and a minitrio:
Would you like to create this book along with me? I start this year with a little gift for you: a free cutting file to cut at home this beautiful chipboard set (or stencil) to make a door book out of an old book. You can download it for free in my January newsletter along with a video tutorial.
If you don't jave a cutting machine you can stamp the image, hand cut or just colour/worn/crumple with distress inks or tea/coffee and glue to a cover book or to make a card.
You can find a new set of vintage doors chipboards or SVG files in my Etsy shop:
Happy Weekend everyone. I have a big news: I am happy to announce I am part of the Visible Image Design Team, their stamps and stencils are so inspiring! And today I use a couple of them to embellish a book cover (I altered dozens of them until now, I confess)
And finally my new line of stencil is out! I've worked on it for months and I hope you like it: I really enjoyed using these new design to make several projects and over the next days I also show you 3 new videos tutorial using them.
Here an artwork using 'Passiflora' on a leather and-made Midori:
I used DecoArt Metallic Texture paint, so scrumptious!
Here I used 'Steampunk Doilie':
Here 'Steampunk Bauble', this stencil is suitable also for not Chistmas cards:
Here 'Lady Jane' on my beloved round altered book
Here 'Hennè Floral' on a paper fan
Here I used 'Regina':
And here I used the kraft cardstock version 'Regina' and also 'Henne'
And last but not least from the mini trio 'Mini Steampunk Royal'
I realized one of my dream to transform some of my stencil design in stamps. What kind of stamps? Not regular, rubber ones but a fun foam version. And when I tried them, wow, I couldn't believe these worked. These are available in my Etsy shop, and here's a video tutorial how to use them. Enjoy the video, I hope it inspires you to use your craft items as well :-).
