Quintessentially Fabric Hearts

New month, new challenge at the CraftStamper magazine challenge blog, and like every other month any stamped creation can enter the challenge! Please just follow the rules and you are entitled to win 4 gorgeous stamps from ArtJourney.

Nuovo mese, nuova sfida sul challenge blog di CraftStamper magazine, e come un mese si ed uno no basta qualsiasi creazione timbrata per partecipare ed avere la possibilità di vincere i timbri offerti dallo sponsor. Io ho creato due cuori di stoffa, super timbrati naturalmente:

I made two fabric hearts:

To make them, I sprayed some Lindys stamp gang on a large piece of white fabric, I cut to size and then I dab through the Eighties stencil from Tando Creative the scrumptious Dyan Revealey paints (left in their packages for months in a drawer, shame on me!)

Per farli ho spruzzato dei colori su della stoffa bianca, li ho tagliati a forma di cuore ed ho aggiunto dei dettagli con uno stencil della Tando Creative, usando i nuovi colori acrilici della  Dyan Revealey (da mesi in un cassetto, vergogna)

I stamped the main steampunk images on tissue paper and I glued them with gel medium to the fabric, and stamped randomly around it.
Ho stampato l'immagine centrale su della carta velina ed incollata con il gel medium sulla stoffa.

I sew and stuffed the hearts.
Ho cucito ed imbottito i cuori.

I added the metallic charms.
Ho aggiunto dei gri-gri

But why quintessentially? Because, by chance, I used the gorgeous rubber stamp plate 'Grand Tour I' from Indigo Blu and a couple of weeks after I made these hearts I have been chosen to be part of the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge Design team! And I cannot wait any more to spill the news, even if my very first piece will be featured the 21st of July, and from then on every month! In the meanwhile I hope to have the chance to have a look at the beautiful entries from my team mates for this current challenge :-).
Ma perchè lo strano titolo del post? Perchè quando ho fatto questi cuori usando per caso dei timbri della IndigoBlu, non sapevo che qualche settimana dopo sarei entrata a far parte del DT del loro IndigoBlu Blog Challenge! Ci vediamo lì ogni 21 del mese! Nel frattempo potreste dare un'occhiata al tema di questo mese ed i bellissimi lavori delle ragazze del team. :-)
