Questa settimana su CraftBarn ci siamo divertiti con l'acetato e il metallo, due materiali che io adoro! E visto che non mi piace tanto fare i gioielli, mi sono sfidata.
Tutti possono provarci: basta una cuttlepasta (o altro macchinario per embossing), qualche folder, metallo, acetato,qualche timbro e questo passo passo.

This week at CraftBarn we're having lot of fun using two of my fave materials: metal and acetate. Since make jewels is not my cup of tea, I decided to challenge me.
These earrings are very easy to make , if you want to try you need an embossing machine, some folders, metal, acetate, some rubber stamps and this step by step.

HJ means:

My first entry for the new challenge blog: Heart Journal 2012, 12 hearts for 12 months ( I already imagine a wall covered with all the hearts hanging on it, ok just imagine..), this month you have to use some wire and masking tape:

HJ significa Heart Journal, 12 cuori per 12 mesi, un nuovo challenge blog francese, e il tema di questo mese e' usare del filo metallico e dello scotch di carta ( gia' mi immagino una parete con tutti i 12 cuori appesi, che bell'effetto, vabbe' giusto una fantasia, ne faro' un paio...e poi chissa' ;-))

I started with a piece of corrugated cardstock, masking tape, wire and an imagine from magazine :

Sono partita da un un pezzo di cartoncino, l'ho dipinto coi colori acrilici, c'ho trasferito sopra l'immagine, ho aggiunto qualche timbrata, un po' di polvere da embossing nera, lo scotch al posto della gonna, e il fildiferro:

I painted it with lilac acrylic paint, I added some black embossing powder , I transferred the image, I added the masking tape and the metallic wire:

Da qualche tempo ho scoperto i cover-a-card stamp, dei timbri grandi, ben dettagliati, adatti per fare le car e per le grandi superfici. Io li ho usati per farci della carta da pacchi ( usando quella carta leggera che si trova nelle cartarie) . Ho ritagliato degli stencil da dei fogli di acetato e poi ho usato colori acrilici, Distress Stain o Distress Ink . Questo e' il risultato:

Recently, I fell in love with those big stamps from Impression Obsession. This time I used them with every possible medium ( acrylic paints, Distress Stain and Distress inks) to cover some newsprints and use them to wrap my gifts:

Io mi sono ispirata ad una card vista molto tempo fa su CrafStamper, ed eccola qui.

Colour Wheel/Ruota dei colori-ArtJournal

Questa settimana su CraftBarn torniamo alle basi, e cioe' alle combinazioni dei colori, a volte la realizzazione di una card o un layout diventano molto più semplici facendoci aiutare dalla ruota dei colori, usando i complementari, oppure i secondari, o solo i primari. L'effetto e' molto piu' armonioso.

Io ho usato i colori complementari, arancio, viola verde nella pagina dell'AJ:

Ero lì che preparavo il minestrone e ci aggiungevo un po' di concentrato quando mi e' venuta l'idea. Mi chiedo quanto ci mettera' a iniziare a puzzare...vabbe' ma questa e' arte!

And least but not last...on a tomato paste tube! I was cooking my favourite soup, when I had the idea to alter it. I wonder when it will begin to stink , who cares... is Art!! ;-)

Questa settimana su CraftBarn ci scateniamo con tutti gli inchiostri immaginabili, io ho scelto i DistressInk, da cui sono sempre più dipendente.
Prendete una cena, dei bei calici, e aggiungeteci un tocco personale e creativo:

This week at CraftBarn the theme is 'Ink yourself silly', and we have lot of fun using different inks. I use Tim Holtz Distress inks and I admit I'm totally addicted !
I created some glass charms using Stampbord, stamps, beads..and ink, of course.

Posso dire che il 2011, dal punto di vista creativo, e' stato un grande anno? SI!

2011 has been a great year for my creative journey: the most important thing was to be invited to join the Craft Barn's DT , so this week you can find, every day, our best art pieces of the year, and a little story behind each of them (there's always one, because we put our heart, our feelings and our time in every one of them).

Dopo qualche settimana dopo avere mandato il vetrino in Inghilterra, mi hanno scritto che era arrivato rotto: che delusione! Pero' mi hanno chiesto se potevo farne uno uguale. Meno male avevo degli abbellimenti simili, e quindi ne ho fatto un altro...Una volta arrivato mi hanno scritto, che stavolta era arrivato tutto intero. Mi sono sentita molto sollevata.

Ogni mese c'e' un timbro in regalo, e questa volta mi ha molto ispirato:

There's a funny story behind this publication: when they ask me the piece I send it them straight away, but a couple of weeks later they wrote to me saying that the altered slide was arrived broken. I was so sad about it. But they ask me a new one, I was lucky I had at home similar embellishments, and then I made a new one. They wrote me saying that time is was arrived safely, and I was so relieved...

On every issue there's a free stamp, I was very inspired, so here' s my altered dominoes:

A couple of days ago I fell in love with this little cute project from the well known Cynthia Shaffer: a mug rug. I have to make my own version straight away!
So, in a couple of hours, I gathered two squares of hand painted fabric, a piece of batting and a piece of felt, and I made my own mug placemat(I needed it so much, I'm a tea lover!):

Qualche giorno fa mi sono imbattuta in un progetto carinissimo della famosissima Cynthia Shaffer: un piccolo tappettino da tazza. Dovevo assolutamente farmene uno! Quindi ho preso due rettangoli di stoffa dipinta, uno di imbottitura e un pezzetto di feltro:

I wanted to do a second one with a turquoise heart, but I had only a rectangular felt leftover, with two edges...so I saw a cat on it!

Prima ho cucito a mano il cuore, poi ho cucito il tutto con la macchina da cucire.
Volevo fare il secondo col cuore turchese, ma avevo solo un pezzettino rettangolare di feltro con due punte su un lato: piu' o meno un gatto =^.^=!

I made a little step by step for the black version:

Un piccolo tutorial per la versione in nero:

take two dominoes (mine are the cheapest on the market, the black type), a black cardstock stripe same height of the domino, stamps, Ranger Perfect medium, mica powders, lace, tiny images :

ho preso due domino (un po' sfigati lo so), una striscia di cartoncino nero, pizzi, polveri iridescenti, immagini piccole piccole stampate al pc, Ranger Perfect medium (non so forse va bene anche il Versamark)

Stamp with Perfect medium and put some mica powders with the help of a paintbrush on the stamped image:

Ho stampato con il Perfect medium e subito ho aggiunto la polverine con un pennellino.

Spritz some water to fix the powder:

Ho spruzzato con un po' d'acqua per fissarle.

Glue the tiny images and some microbeads. Add the lace (mine is coloured with pink VersaCraft):

Ho incollato le immagini , microperle e il pizzo:

Glue the cardstock to the domino, along with a ribbon to close the domino(a long one is enough)

Ho incollato il cartoncino al domino, insieme con un nastrino (ne basta uno lungo per chiudere il domino)

Yesterday at last I found the real white dominoes at the local toy shop, I made this shot:

Third week of a calendar at CrafBarn, March is the month. I used an Impression Obsession stamp: these are so big and rich in details, you can cover all the background with a single impression. I love them definitely.

I glued an image taken from a newspaper to a TH fragments, along with stamped details.

Per il calendar challenge su CraftBarn questa settimana bisogna usare il rosso e l'embossing. Potevo io non farmi ispirare dal mio colore preferito? E quindi ecco un altro calendario, questa volta per la cucina. Una bacheca Ikea adattata, mi piace tanto il risultato:

So, I've altered an old Ikea wooden board, hanging in the kitchen for ages...

Sono partita dallo straccio usato per pulire i pennelli , finendo di colorare la parte superiore con i colori acrilici:
I finished to paint a rag used to clean my paintbrushes with acrylic colours:

Ho ritagliato dei cuori di diverse dimensioni da un vecchio libro. Li ho embossati con della polverina rossa da embossing.
I cut some hearts from book pages. I embossed them with red embossing powder. I prepared in the same way the calendar.

I glued down the hearts to the fabric with lots of gel medium.

Li ho incollati col gel medium sulla stoffa. Ho incollato il calendario su 12 cuori e pinzati insieme.

Ho timbrato con del gesso con un tappo di bottiglia e un timbro testo.
I stamped the fabric with gesso, script stamp and a bottle cap.

Dopo aver tolto la gatta dalla lavagna, l'ho messa a faccia in giu' e fissata la stoffa con la sparapunti, prima sui punti cardinali e poi su tutto il bordo, tirando bene la stoffa (come insegna Paint your life).
I move away the cat from the wooden board,I put it face down (not the cat) and attach the fabric to it with a big stapler.

I put some decorative nails along the borders.
Lungo i bordi ho usato dei chiodini da tappezziere.

Questa settimana il protagonista su Craft Barn e' Andy Skinner! Voi direte , lui chi è !?
Io l'ho scoperto tamite il DT, ma a parte la sua linea di timbri, è bravissimo, il suo blog è pieno di progetti, ispirazioni e tutorial. Una vera scoperta!
Con pochi materiali, timbri, gesso e due distress ink, ho alterato la solita cornice da un euro in una delicata e shabby. Ho persino ri-usato la balsa (qui e qui la prima volta che l'ho usata).

I used one Andy Skinner's plate (yes, he is a stamp designer, too), gesso and Distress Inks to alter a cheap frame in one shabby's style:

L'ho gessata e colorata con i distress ink e un pizzico di polvere da embossing oro. L'ho timbrata qua e la'. Per l'interno, ho usato una catenella che ho fissato con delle puntine da disegno. Su questa ho incollato i tre pezzi di balsa gessati e timbrati.

Per il 'Pozzo dei desideri' Netty chiedeva come usare il rulletto per i progetti craft. Un modo di usarlo è con i colori acrilici: si possono ottenere degli sfondi molto grunge.

E poi usarli per alterare oggetti o per le card. Sono partita da qui:

Scottex, tovagliolini e portacellulare!

Tutto ebbe inizio con l'acquisto di due portacellulari stoffosi che non vedevo l'ora di alterare.
Tre mesi dopo erano ancora li', intonsi. Fino a che uno dei due mi era assolutamente necessario e quindi era arrivato il suo momento!

A couple of months ago I buyed two mobile phone carrier: I was eager to alter them but I didn't have the time to alter them. When I found in a furniture shop a package of cool papwr towel I decided to give a try.

Ingredienti:
-tovagliolini fighi di carta
-rotoloni regina (non quelli da c.... ma da faccia :-))
-portacellulare (un affare lo ammetto, qui)
-stencil
-mists

Recipe:
-paper towel
-kitchen rolling
-mobile phone carrier (you can find here)
-stencil
-mists

Glue down with gel medium or PVA glue pieces of tissue. Let dry.
Incollare pezzetti di tovagliolino di carta. Lasciare asciugare.

I started to spray with stencil and my favourite mists. At this point , I made a mess, because the color was too much, and gone under the stencil. I decided to spray the whole piece, still awful..I painted with gesso to cover the mistakes...I was desperate to save the piece.

Ho spruzzato il davanti con i colori a spruzzo: un disastro, il colore era andato sotto, e aveva mecchaito tutto. Allora ho deciso di spruzzare tutto il pezzo. Ancora impresentabile, allora via con un po' di gesso per coprire le patacche. A questo punto pensavo seriamente di buttarlo...

Several days later I found this beautiful rolling kitchen in the house, so the mobile phone carrier was save!
Alcuni giorni dopo ho trovato in cucina questo bellissimo scottex e ho deciso di usarlo sul portatelefonino.

I stencilled with gesso.
Visto che ormai era tutto rosso ho usato lo stencil col gesso.

I attached the cute little skulls and a wooden charm:

Qualche settimana fa ho rubacchiato da un fruttivendolo (ma loro le buttano, vero?) delle scatole di legno da frutta.
Alcune sono in attesa di nuova vita, uno e' gia' passata sotto le mie grinfie.

Ho alterato anche un orologio! :-)

Ma che sono quelle tavolette bianche? Si chiamano Stampbord: sono di legno, si possono trovare in tutte le misure e hanno una particolarità: la faccetta principale accatta qualsiasi colore, si puo' pure timbrare con i distress ink e la timbrata viene perfetta. Si possono anche graffiare per ottenere degli effetti chiaro scuro.

This time I've altered a wooden crate to store my spray inks. And I used lots of Stampbord.
Stampbord is an art and craft surface with an ultra-smooth clay finish. It allows clean, perfect rubber stamp impressions every time. The surface will accept all types of stamping inks including dye based, alcohol and pigment and is correctable and erasable. Overall, great for all projects from jewellery to altering, magnets, cards, ATC etc..
Since the surface is made of clay, you can scratch back into your designs to create incredible details, highlights and textures using the Stampbord scratch tool.

Tim in a bottle!

L'ho fatto ! L'ho messo addirittura in bottiglia! :-)

I've done it! I put him in a bottle... :-)

Questa settimana su Craft Barn...'usiamo' Tim HOLTZ! O meglio, i suoi prodotti!

Io ho creato, con un foglio di acetato e delle buste trasparenti da ufficio, un album per contenere i folder per embossare.

Ho tagliato il foglio di acetato in due pezzi della misura dell'embossing folder. Li ho passati
nella cuttlepasta. Ho messo gli eyelets. Ci ho spruzzato col dito e uno spazzolino da denti dell'
alcohol ink.

Per l'interno ho preso le buste trasparenti da ufficio, le ho tagliate a misura e cucite sul lato
e sul fondo.

Per l'abbellimento centrale ho tagliato a forma di cuore un pezzo di grungepaper. L'ho gessato.
Ci ho messo sopra delle gocce di alcohol ink e ho soffiato dentro una cannuccia. Ho ricoperto col
Crackle'. Le ali le ho colorate col distress ink.

This time I created an embossing-folder holder from scratch.

For the inside I took several plastic A4 clear pockets from office supply.
I cut them in half and cut in lenght to get the same size of the embossing folder.
I sewed the bottom and the right side with the sewing machine. The pockets are ready.

For the front and back cover I cut two rectangles same size of the inner pockets from an
acetate foil. I embossed with embossing folder with my cuttlepasta.
I put a couple of drops of alcohol ink on an old toothbrush and 'sprayed' on the cover.

To make the embellishments: I cut some chipboards from grungeboard. I gessoed them. I put one single drops of alcohol ink on it and start to blow on a straw (or a empty body pen). I added different colors of ink until I get the result I like. I coat the chipboard with Rocky Crackle paint.

I glued the metal charm to the heart, covered too with gessoed and coloured with a ink pad. I coloured the other chipboards with Mustard Seed Distress ink.
I attach the heart and wings to the front cover.

To assemble it I used two bind rings whom I attached a key, a cork vial and a little bulb.

Gli alcohol inks sono adattissimi per alterare scatole di plastica o di metallo, in questo modo sarà sempre possibile aprirle, al contrario dell'uso di altri medium che creano spessore.

Alcohol inks are very useful to use on plastic or metal boxes, because it's still possible to open them after altering.

Here a plastic box altered (the bottom) with alcohol inks. I attached to the lid a piece of calico with an image transferred on (here one of my old tutorial).

Ho ritrovato delle immagini trasferite su stoffa con gesso durante questo vecchio tutorial, l'ho cucita intorno e incollata sul coperchio della scatola. I cerchi sono delle rondelle di ferramenta.

Difficilissimo da scrivere...però i loro timbri sono proprio belli (gatti a go' go')...

Questa settimana Craftbarn è dedicata alla ditta francese Katzelkraft.
Era da tanto che volevo provare a fare una statement necklace ( quelle collane grandi e vicine al collo un po' elaborate), di solito la base e' di feltro, ma adesso fa troppo caldo per quello , quindi mi sono armata di tela canvas, fimo e polveri di mica colorate:

Comunque vuol dire Clean and Simple. Una timbrata (una eh) una frase, niente strati niente abbellimenti e soprattutto tanto spazio bianco. Sembra facile, ma e' difficcilissimo!

Il mio primo progetto per il DT di Craft Barn, questa settimana abbiamo usato in tutti i modi possibili il Grungepaper/Grungeboard di Tim Holtz, un materiale molto versatile.

C'è l'ho fatta!! Sono entrata a far parte del design team di Craftbarn!!
Sono felicissima, ho passato 2/3 giorni senza dormire (ansia da prestazione, oddio ho finito le idee e devo scrivere in inglese) ma ormai è fatta...
Il blog è pieno di ispirazioni, sfide, premi e 'Il pozzo dei desideri': si puo' esprimere un desiderio craftoso, cioe' qualcosa che si desirerebbe vedere sul blog, una spiegazione, una tecnica, un prodotto, e una volta la settimana viene esaudito il desiderio ( e premiato anche chi l'ha espresso) dai membri del team (adesso potete commentare anche in italiano :-)).

Quindi prossimamente mi vedrete di qui e di li'. Vi aspetto!

Vi ricordate il post Solo per gattare?? Ormai sono una fedele seguage della Susan Faye, e qualche giorno fa ha indetto un blog candy sul suo blog: oltre al semplice commento si puo' avere un'ulteriore chance di vincere, partecipando ad una cosa molto carina: mette a disposizione uno dei suoi disegni da colorare! Come si vuole, anche al computer, e poi spedirglielo via mail. Io mi sono cimentata con gli acquerelli, e al secondo tentativo ecco la mia opera:

il gatto e' rimasto bianco, perche' avevo paura di sbagliare e rovinare tutto lo sfondo, pero' il risultato mi piace molto. Provate anche voi (chissa' con i Copic come verrebbe), c'è ancora qualche giorno!

E adesso torniamo ai famosi vetrini da microscopio: veramente tanti commenti, grazie a tutte quelle che sono passate dal mio blog, nuove e vecchie, io cerco sempre di ricambiare, e ho cosi' modo di conoscere tanti blog nuovi.

Anyway, abbiamo due vincitrici :

La perfetta microscopista/Altered Slides

Ispirata da un bell'articolo sulla rivista CraftStamper di Marzo, mi sono buttata sull'alterazione dei vetrini da microscopio! Volete provare anche voi?

Ci servono:
-vetrini da microscopio
-alcohol-ink
-timbri
-StazOn
-pezzetto di libro o spartito
-gesso
-colla

Se hanno la ''firma" (come i miei) i vetrini sono da grattare, per esempio con un pezzetto di vetrino rotto. Coloriamo con gli alcohol-ink, aiutandoci con un pezzetto di feltro:

Timbriamo con lo stazOn, sulla parte colorata.

Prepariamo lo sfondo con il gesso, poi lo incolliamo sempre sul lato colorato e lo rifiliamo con le forbici:

Il centrale ha fatto una brutta fine...

Eccoli qui , prima della fase abbellimento (sulla rivista venivano usati cosi' direttamente sulle card):

Ho una macchina da cucire. Ma questo non basta per saper cucire. Non ho pazienza, cucio storto, taglio a occhio (non ho neanche la rotella), in fondo non e' colpa mia :-)

Nonostante tutto, ecco l'ultimo lavoretto fatto per il mio armadio-craft.

Sono partita da qua: ho tagliato le tasche trasparenti e le ho usate come modello.

La stoffa era una ikea bianca colorata-timbrata-stencillata con i colori acrilici:

Se piace il genere, da lontano non sono male (e ci sta dentro un sacco di roba):

Ma vediamo più da vicino...

Che cuciture, eh!! E poi chicca finale: per venire meglio in foto, ho stirato il tutto: ed essendo la struttura di puro acrilico ho bruciacchiato di qua e di la'!

Nel caso ci capitasse di fare una piccola trasferta o una vacanza molto rilassata, perchè non portare con noi una piccola borsa con tutto il nécessaire creativo?

Per il nuovo tema su Italy On Sunday, alterare una borsa, sono partita da una vecchia borsa di cuoio rimediata ad uno swap-party...

Prima:

Il procedimento ha richiesto una mano di gesso:

e per colorare ho usato due colori di Adirondack Color Wash (forse e' venuta un po' monotona).

Per la scritta ho usato un alfabeto chipboard come timbro: ricordare di mettere l'inchiostro sulla parte appiccicosa perchè la stampa è al contrario :

E dentro?

Scatola di acquerelli, qualche penna indelebile, pennelli, colla, moleskine, timbri preferiti, stencil piccoli e tampone d'inchiostro.

Un lungo Altered Book...

Ci sono dei lavoretti che iniziano male...e non finiscono più ! Questo e' uno di quelli.

Qualche mese ho preso un paio di libri usati per pochi centesimi con l'intenzione di alterarli.

Queste foto risalgono al 20 Marzo scorso, il giorno dell'inizio:

Ho incollato tutte le pagine fra di loro:

Ho scavato pazientemente la nicchia:

Ed ecco il lavoro semi-finito:

Perche' ''semi'' ? perche' l'interno e' sepolto sotto 3 strati di gesso/ripensamenti!

Per fare le perline di carta sono partita dalle fotocopie di spartiti musicali:

Le ho tagliate a triangoli:

Le ho distressate:

E poi arrotolate su degli stecchini (se vengono troppo sottili arrotolate piu' triangoli insieme)

Gli stecchini servono per infilzarle da qualche parte durante l'asciugatura del Glossy Accents (si puo' anche usare una vernice lucida normale o embossare):

E così, seguendo la scia dei gatti sul web, sono approdata qui, da Susan Faye:

Mi sono tuffata su questo blog pieno di storie di gatti e gattare/i, oggetti fatti con amore, giveaways, iniziative benefiche.

Fra le altre cose lei fa anche i ritratti (qui la sua gallery) ma in questo momento non accetta nuove ordinazioni. Lo ammetto mi sarebbe piaciuto averne uno, ma mentre cercavo di qua e di la', ho trovato un suo tutorial:

Metallo & Domino

E per il tema di questa settimana su Italy on Sunday, alterare qualcosa di metallico, ecco la mia interpretazione:

Non e' la prima sveglia che altero, ma perche c'ho questa fissa? Semplice: le smonto per ricavarci gli ingranaggi! Certo questa è l'ultima volta che queste sveglie cinesi mi fregano, perchè dentro e' tutto di plastica!!

Spulciando in internet per trovare ispirazioni metalliche ho scoperto il blog di Neil Walker: che bravo!! E fra uno dei suoi capolavori ho trovato l'idea per fare dei mini accordion con le tessere del domino (le ho quasi finite meno male).

Per farli ho usato del cartoncino, i domino, timbri e abbellimenti:

Taglio - piego a fisamornica -timbro:

Decoro il domino se mi va se no è carino anche "nature"

Incollo il cartoncino al domino ricordandomi di mettere il nastrino fra la carta e il legno, dietro e davanti:

Se taglio il nastrino mi verra' a fisarmonica, se non lo taglio verra' a libriccino:

Qualche giorno fa avevo comprato queste cornici ad un euro al brico per un'eventuale alterazione:

L'ho smontata:

L'ho dipinta color oro scuro:

A questo punto ho iniziato il collage e sullo sfondo ho messo della cera d'api (ma come mi e' saltato in mente...) e mentre la fondevo con l'embosser...si e' bucato il polistirolo sotto, ecco tutti quei pizzi copri buchi :-).

Mi sa che mi sono fatta prendere un po' la mano...

Per i colori mi sono ispirata al challenge "Copper Ginger or Rust" su Gingersnap Creations

E partecipo anche all'ispirazione "Targhe e Targhette" su Timbroscrapmania.

Qualche settimana fa ho fatto un acquistone: in un Brico ho trovato uno scampolo di tovaglia di plastica trasparente bellissimo :

E quindi adesso usiamo solo quella, per esempio per alterare il porta CD Ikea, preso millenni fa, per la nuova ispirazione su Italy on Sunday:

Pezze da lavatrice#2...Shabby!

E visto che ‘ste pezzette (e sono tante) giravano ancora per la scrivania, dovevo trovare un altro modo per utilizzarle.
Qualcuno si e’ lamentato che i suoi acchiappa colore erano neri per il riuso. Ma davvero si possono riutilizzare? Ma sulla scatola c’e’ scritto usare ‘solo una volta’! Funzionano ancora??...Interessante!!

Volete fare anche voi questi cuori Shabby?

Piegate a metà la pezzetta e disegnate la sagoma di un cuore:

Timbrate:

Stencillate con colori acrilici, tamponi oppure gesso

Cucite il contorno lasciando un buchetto su lato

Tagliate il contorno

Imbottite il cuore

Cucite il buchetto.

Il primo che ho fatto si è strappato perche ho provato a ricucire tutto il cuore, non lo fate! Basta una sola cucitura.

Ho ricevuto (fra tante altre cose) questa bellissima piantina dalla Zammu’, purtroppo il vaso di coccio si era rotto durante il trasporto..e allora via di colla, gesso, colori acrilici, per poterlo esporre in bella vista! Grazie Franca!

Ginger Work e pezze da lavatrice..

Mi sono distrutta le mani con le pinze per smontare i pezzi di computer (ok, ci lavoro ogni giorno, vorrei distruggerli tutti :-) ):

Ma sono abbastanza contenta del risultato : due card e una bustina porta hard-disk (insomma era in tema):

Ho usato una sacchettina che girava per casa insieme a tante compagne, giallina e triste:

E visto che le avevo tra le mani, ne ho colorate altre due (la terza e' saltata dentro la spazzatura),
per il tema di questo mese su Inkurable Stampers: Paint!

Un po' di colore acrilico:

Poi, finalmente, dopo anni di raccolta, prendo i fogli acchiappacolore che si mettono in lavatrice per impedire i danni al bucato:

Si timbrano alla rinfusa:

Si tagliano a quadrotti:

Si aprono in due le sacchette e si cuciono con i quadrotti, e poi si richiudono:

Le voila', sacchette per ogni esigenza...

Uova & Domino

E questa settimana su IoS alteriamo ...la scatola delle uova!

Quelle scheggette sono proprio...bucce di uova colorate (recuperate da qua) . E non fate come me che adesso ho il frigo veramente pieno di uova...

E in preparazione dell'Internationa Charm Day del 28 Aprile, un piccolo tutorial per alterare le tessere del domino (ma anche il fimo e il metallo in genere).

Per farlo bisogna usare le polverine di mica iridescenti:

Io le ho trovate molto economiche su questo sito, ma ci sono anche quelle fantastiche della Ranger.

Prendete le tessere del domino, e si va va , fateci i buchetti col trapano (io ho usato una punta 2)

Tamponate col Perfect Medium o il Versamark la tessera:

Spennellate con un piccolo pennello le polverine.

Soffiate via l'eccesso e date una spruzzatina d'acqua..

Abbellite!

Questa settimana su Gingersnap Creations le ispirazioni sono per il Martedi' Grasso...e anche questo carnevale e' andato, arrivederci frappe zeppole e frittelle sarde...mi mancherete!

Ecco la mia interpretazione, ho alterato una maschera portatami dalla Gina direttamente da Venezia:

Lo charm l'ho fatto una sera seguendo il video in differita della Cuchy sul suo canale (ma so che ogni venerdi sera e' in diretta dalla Spagna), era sera tardi ero stanchissima ma quando l'ho vista che pasticciava col fimo non ho resistito...

E a proposito di Ginger , uno dei miei segnalibri e' diventato una Ginger GEM:

Qui i miei ultimi tentativi col cucito:

Avevo bisogno di una sacchetta per la macchina fotografica, volevo qualcosa che fosse un pò artistica e non la solita borsetta nera. Quindi me la sono cucita.
Non essendo proprio una cima nel cucito ho fatto il solito modellino a tasca: un unico rettangolo piegato 4 volte e all'interno ho cucito l'imbottitura.
Dopo averlo finito mi sono ricordata di essermi scordata della tracolla: poco male, una volta infilata la macchina uso la tracolla di questa!

La stoffa usata era un'Ikea bianca, che nei miei sogni doveva diventare coloratissima e bellissima, ma poi si sono arenati...

La borsetta l'ho addirittura colorata dopo che l'ho cucita e non sono soddisfatta dei colori, troppo spenti. Fa niente mo' me la tengo.

Qui lo stesso modellino (doveva essere un portacellurare ma e' venuto fuori misura) contiene adesso la mia vecchia compatta, ancora stoffa IKEA.

Alcuni lavoretti prodotti questa settimana, addirittura di una qualche utilità.

Prima l'antefatto: dopo aver fatto il video sugli stencil floreali cartacei, qualcuno, con mia gioia, si è scatenato, e me l'ha fatto sapere mandandomi un po' dei suoi ritagli, spiegandomi come li avevi fatti e chiedendomi anche eventuali utilizzi.
Io per il momento li ho usati come stencil (fantastici secondo me) per impacchettare un regalo e fare una piccola card:

e poi li ho usati per dare un motivo di sfondo, che rimane un po' in rilievo, per alterare un portacollane di legno:

Ho incollato col gel medium i centrini:

Finalmente le mie collane in ordine(SI , ho una parete fucsia!):

Per dare l'effetto perlato ho usato le polverine di mica:

E per il tema di questa settimana su Italy on Sunday, Copertina, ecco la mia interpretazione:

Ho alterato la copertina della mia prima moleskine (ehm e' un po' vuota all'interno, ero partita bene ma poi mi sono naturalmente arenata)

Dopo:

Ho usato il mio nuovo straccio da lavoro, semplicemente incollandolo sulla copertina. Ma il dettaglio e' quello che mi ha dato piu' soddisfazione:

Una mini teletta usata sul di dietro, e di lato c'e' una chiave di casa alterata con charms e meccanismi di orologio.

Il tutorial per la chiave lo trovate qui, dalla prolifica e generosissima Roni di InkStains , uno di quei blog che li guardi e pensi, ma perche' non l' ho avuta io l'idea? E allora come si dice...ti ispiri...e ringrazi!

Ed infine , l'ultima paginetta per l'Art Journal Every Day (che se lo faccio una volta alla settimana e' grasso che cola...altro che tutti i giorni)

Stoffe e metalli: cuttlepasta is back!

Per la sfida di questo mese su Inkurable Stampers, il tema era Segnalibri, mi sono un pò lasciata andare...

Era da tanto che volevo fare l'esperimento...embossare la stoffa!
Materiali:
-stoffaccia (la stoffa si può colorare prima o dopo)
-colla
-cuttlepasta
-folder da embossing
-cartoncino

Incolliamo la stoffa sul cartoncino (io ho usato il gel medium), facendola aderire bene

Inseriamo dentro il folder

Facciamo passare dalla cuttlepasta (io uso apertura 1, la piu' grande)

Ecco qua:

Visto che c'ero, avendo tirato fuori il marchingegno infernale, ho continuato ad embossare con la tecnica del finto metallo, io c'ho fatto lo sfondo e anche gli charms.
L'adesivo metallico si trova dai soliti cinesi.

Ed ecco le mie opere finite:

Questo è il mio preferito, sarà perchè è fatto con il famoso straccio, oppure la scritta, ma me piace!
