Mother's day Week

Mother's day week this time at CraftBarn. And for me a LO! A picture of me and my mum, at The Reggia di Caserta, a couple of years ago.

And last week I played a little bit with a 5 minute project: when you decide to cook for someone and you need a little excuse: I create better ...than my cooking
Ed un piccolo progetto da 5 minuti, da esporre in cucina, quando ci sono ospiti e tu hai millantato doti culinarie alla Alessandro Borghese...

-Put some gesso on a piece of music sheet
-Glue to grey cardstock
-Emboss the borders with black embossing powder
-Create the text with some alpha chipboards and alphabet stamp 
-Put in the kitchen !

-Gessare un pezzo di spartito musicale
-Incollarlo su del cartoncino spesso
-Embossare i bordi con della polvere da embossing nera
-Aggiungere la scritta con chipboards e timbri
-Esporre in cucina bene in vista!

Carnival!!

Carnival this week at CraftBarn, and I have lots of fun altering a thing I never altered before: a hat! From the shop I got a kit from Tando, so I had the chance to decorate it before to assemble it.

Carnevale è il tema di questa settimana su CraftBarn, ed io ho alterato una cosa molto inusuale per me, un cappello! Dallo shop ho preso un kit della Tando, e così ho potuto decorarlo prima di montarlo, facilissimo!

Oriental Week

Grazie alla generosità della bravissima Lynne Moncrieff, ho messo finalmente le manine sui porta vetrini, e quindi ho deciso di alterarne uno con tema Oriente, il nuovo tema proposto su CraftBarn questa settimana.
Thanks to the generosity of the uber-talented  Lynne Moncrieff, I had the chance to alter a slide mailer, and I choose the Oriental theme, the week's theme at CraftBarn.

E visto che c'ero, due nuovi vetrini. Un tema per me inusuale, ma sempre elegantissimo.
What's the use of a slide mailer without two altered microscope slides? This theme is very unusual for me, but still very elegant.
