Texture!!

Touchy feely is this week's theme at CraftBarn.
I altered an old cardstock box and a notepad to put inside.
For my piece, I added texture in 4 different ways: using embossing paste trough a stencil, with a piece of doilies, with tissue tape, and using embossing paste and microbeads. And it's not pink!

Texture e' il tema di questa settimana su CraftBarn. Io ho alterato una vecchia scatola di cartoncino, che adesso contiene un piccolo bloc-notes ed una matitina. La texture l'ho ottenuta in 4 modi diversi, con della pasta da embossare attraverso uno stencil, con un pezzetto di centrino, con del nastro carta e delle microperle.

Take Flight..Hanging LO

 

This week on CraftBarn is about... Take Flight! Nothing mechanical for me, just my sweet Dido looking at some birds( unfortunately once she caught one.. and bring it into the house!)
My interpretation is a fabric LO hanging from an altered wooden hangers. Hope you like it!

I created a mini mini album from scratch with its own little stand. Ideally, it matches my previous tea-cup project.

Circle week-AJ

Circle week at CraftBarn! It was ages since I played on my "normal" Aj...no fabric, no dictionary, just playing with sprays, stencils and stamps. 
Settimana a tema Cerchi su CraftBarn, e siccome era una vita che non pasticciavo più sull'AJ , troppo presa dall'Aj di stoffa e dal dizionaro, ho deciso di tornare ai vecchi stencil, spray e timbri.

Spring in Fashion Challenge

Ok, dal tempo non si direbbe, però perchè non celebrare l'arrivo della Primavera con un pò di Fashion?
Spring in Fashion  è il nuovo tema della sfida mensile su CraftyIndividuals. Unica regola, usare almeno un prodotto della CraftyIndividuals!

New month and new challenge at the CraftyIndividuals blog! And why not to celebrate Spring with a little bit of Fashion? So, the new theme is Spring In Fashion. To participate you have to use at least one CraftyIndividuals product. More details here.
In a very short time I made some samples , hope you like them:

I printed and cut a bag template from Internet (here the template), then I covered it with paper from Crafty Individuals background book 7 (Shades of summer) .
For the inner side, I sprayed with some mists using as masks Beautiful butterflies and Delicate grasses Set 2 and I stamped the background using CI-328 - Sewing notions and CI-306 - French corset .
 Ho stampato il template delle due borsette (potete trovarlo qui) e rivestite con alcune carte Crafty Individuals:

For the minialbum I stamped several time the ladies using CI-323 - Fashionable twenties ladies and I glued them to the background.

And since I was playing..I created a romantic necklace ( or a headband) using an old doilies. I decorated it with butterflies and images from Crafty Individuals picture book: Butterflies and flowers and Crafty Individuals picture book:People and place2.
