Metallo e profumi!/Metal and perfume bottle!

Questa settimana su CraftBarn è la settimana del dono, in vista della festa della mamma (in Uk, per noi è un pò presto). Avevo questa bottiglietta di profumo, e così ho deciso di alterarla. Ma mica poteva andare in giro tutta sola soletta, ed ecco la sua scatola!

This week is ' Gift week' at CraftBarn , since Mother's day is approaching ( at least in UK). I decided to alter a perfume bottle, but since I don't like to leave it alone, I altered a little metal tin to contain it:

And since I had my fingers dirty with ink...

Do you like Vintage , Shabby-Chic style? I do! And this week ar Craftbarn we celebrate this wonderful style. My little fabric interpretation.
I created these little scissor holder using a piece of white calico ( an old sheet, as usual) , Distress Stains and a lovely CraftyIndividual plate.

Quanto ci piace lo Shabby-Chic style? A me personalmente assai! Questa settimana su CraftBarn si parla Shabby! E qui la mia piccola interpreatazione stoffosa, ispirata da un set di timbri molto vintage, di CraftyIndividuals. Ho usato come base il solito vecchio lenzuolo, dell'imbottitura e i Distress Stains.

Ho usato la casa delle streghe di Tim Holtz, in maniera più primaverile. Ci andreste voi ad abitare in una casa cosi', naturalmente rosa e con gatti di qua e di là? :-)

Nuovo mese , nuovo cuore, dopo tanto schiacciare, rullare, colorare un pezzo di gelido fimo, ecco il risultato:

Yesterday I saw a movie very Steampunk, full of gear- cogs- clogs and robot. It was gorgeous and so poetic (and even 3D). I loved it:

Ieri ho visto un film bellissimo: tutto pieno di orologi giganti meccanismi e automi. Un film bellissimo e molto poetico ( e pure in 3D):

And speaking about Steampunk, a very easy project, the one it can't require any ability or patience, just use your favourite paper, cut , glue and use your new brand ( but old) watch parts ( I finally found them at the local flea market called PortaPortese).

E a proposito di steampunk, i miei ultimi vetrini alterati, un progetto molto semplice, ho usato le solite carte della Graphic45, le ho incollate sul vetrino e ho poi aggiunto i miei nuovi (ma vecchi) meccanismi ( li ho finalmente trovati a Portaportese)


Cut a piece of paper same size of the slide. Put some glossy accents only along the borders. Attach to the slide. Emboss the borders with gold embossing powder. Attach some embellishments.

ModRoc e Venezia...

Modeling week at Craftbarn this week, clay or ModRoc.
ModRoc? What's this?? Modroc is nothing more than plaster impregnated bandages but it's ideal for modelling.

ModRoc? E che sarà mai?? Avete presente il gesso che si usa quando ti rompi una gamba?? Più o meno! :-) Lo tagli, lo bagni lo appoggi e prende la forma dell'oggetto sotto.

Io ho deciso di creare due maschere veneziane:
I made two colourful Venetian masks out of ModRoc:


E dei mini canvas, usando una scatolina di metallo come "stampo".
And three mini canvases , using a tin box lid as a mould:
