CraftBarn DT Showcase & Anna

And we arrived at the last post for this year at CraftBarn: the DT showcase. I chose my favourite piece among all the pieces I made this year, and Isabelle chose others that she liked.

It's my second year that I work with this gorgeous team, and it's still a great experiences for my creative (and not only) life!
E' il secondo anno che passo insieme a loro, e continua ad essere una magnifica ed intensa esperienza per la mia vita artistica (e non solo)!

And speaking about creative life, I had the greatest pleasure  to attend a class with the talented Anna Finnabair last weekend, here in a sunny and freezing Rome. We made the inner pages of an ArtJournal. I enjoyed very much the course and the things we made and learned. Thanks to Timbroscrapmania  and Barbara for planning everything.
 This is the cover ( unfortunately I couldn't attend the morning course, so I invented a little bit) and the inner pages. Love them!
E parlando di vita creativa ho avuto la fortuna di seguire un corso con la bravissima  Anna Finnabair , domenica scorsa qui a Roma, ho apprezzato tantissimo quello che abbiamo fatto e imparato. Grazie a Timbroscrapmania e Barbara per aver organizzato tutto.

One Stamp & Christmas

E' Nataleeeee! E il mio albero in rosa è già pronto! Questa settimana su CraftBarn abbiamo usato lo stesso timbro....in 6 modi diversi. Io ci ho decorato l'albero e finito il calendario 2013!!

Rubber stamps holder/Portatimbri

Ok , non sono la crafter più ordinata del mondo...Ecco come tengo i  miei timbri della CraftyIndividuals, vergognoso eh? Ma adesso hanno trovato una nuova colorata casetta.
Ok, I'm not the tidiest crafter of the world, I admit. This is how I keep my CraftyIndividuals rubber stamps...It's a shame, I know it.

But now they have new colorful little houses:

These CD-holder are perfect because are of the right size of the CI stamps.

I started here
Prima:

I covered with gesso 
Ricoperto di gesso

I glue a piece of book page or music sheet

I covered with acrilic paint
Un pò di colori acrilici

I sprayed with several colours of inks using a piece of lace as stencil
Ho spruzzato dei colori usando un centrino come stencil

I put all around the borders some washi tape
Ho aggiunto sui bordi del washi tape, insieme ad una immagine
I glued an image and voila'!

New CI stamps and the biggest blogcandy ever!

I made three quick card
Io mi sono divertita con due dei nuovi timbri per creare delle card

 

Perfette per accompagnare un regalino hand made, due coppie di presine per la cucina:
Perfect for matching a couple of pot-holder, a little handmade gift for this Christmas.

To make the potholder, cut 2 square of fabric and one square of batting, slightly smaller:
Per farle, ho tagliato due quadrati di stoffa e uno di imbottitura:

Put some acrilic paint on the craftsheet, spray with water and squeeze the fabric:
Ho inumidito la stoffa e stropicciata su dei colori acrilici:

 

Stamp on some pieces of TAP paper:
Ho stampato sulla carta per trasferire sulla stoffa:

Color the stamped image, and thansfer to the fabric with the hot iron:
Colorato le immagini e trasferite col ferro caldo:

Put a piece of ribbon inside the two squares of fabric:
Ho messo un nastrino all'interno:

Sew along two borders:
Ho cucito due lati:

 Put the batting and finish to sew:
Messo l'imbottitura e cucito gli altri due:

 Adhere some ribbon on the edges:
Ho incollato la passamaneria:

Cute week at CraftBarn! And since it's not definitely my style, and since I couldn't miss a month on my 2013 calendar here we are :-)
I used the same technique I learned from the April's heart, stamping on gesso and baking soda.
E siamo a novembre per il calendario 2013 su CraftBarn  settimana "cute", carina. Non proprio il mio stile, lo ammetto! Per lo sfondo ho usato la staessa tecnica usata nel cuore di Aprile,, gesso e bicarbonato.
