Altered little tubes and October

Settimana 5£ ! E qui mi sono scatenata, ho riciclato le confezioni delle perle di vetro che compro usualmente da CraftBarn, le vorrei tutte!!  
At CraftBarn is a 5£ gift week! And I upcycled the little plastic tubes that contain the glass beads I usually buy in the shop.

I decided to put inside some handmade body cream ( you can find lots of recipe in internet, mine is made of almond oil, olive oil, beeswax and lavander infuse)

Pencil case and September

Gift under 10£ this week at CraftBarn, and I decided to alter two pencil case (you can find on the shop and these are very cheap) and you can load with pencils, candies, cosmetics. I made two different version, one masculine and one girlish. Hope you like it :-)

November Heart/Cuore di Novembre

Ne manca 1 solo...gia' mi mancanoooooo!!Il tema di questo mese era usare il gesso nero.
Just 1 left ahead..already miss them! The second last theme is to use black gesso. 

 I sprayed the cardstock with a pink mist/Ho spruzzato il cartoncino con del colore fucsia.

 I  added the image from a magazine and I covered the surface with heavy gel medium
Ho aggiunto l'immagine e ricoperto l'intorno con dell'heavy gel medum.

 I glued down everything it was in hand, flowers, charms, beads, lace, ring, paper...
Ho incollato tutto quello che avevo intorno, fiori, charms, anellini, puzzle, pizzo...

 When dry, I covered with black gesso
Dopo una notte ho ricoperto con del gesso nero

 When dry I covered with metallic paints and powders.
E infine con le polveri e vernici metalliche

Voila'!

Gift under 20£

E con questa settimana su CraftBarn iniziamo il mese dedicato ai piccoli regali handmade da fare per il Natale...si avvicina e ci dobbiamo preparare...io sono a posto per quest'anno!

Io ho alterato una piccolissima caffettiera, non e' la prima, ne ho un'altra fatta nel lontanissimo 2008, adesso esposta nella mia cucina ( dato che e' rosa :-))

This is not the first coffe maker I altered , the first one (from the the very far 2008) is now proudly displaying in my kitchen (since it is pink...:-)) , but this one is even smaller! And I love it!

And since I was playing, two simple festive earrings, made out of clay:
E un paio di orecchini fatti col fimo e un timbro regalatomi da Malcom and Jane nel mio ultimo acquisto dallo shop.

For the coffee maker I used the CraftyIndividuals Merry Christmas book and CI-293-Flower Medley stamp, for the card the CI-358 stamp, for the earrings a complimentary stamp Malcom and Jean gave me with my last order from the shop.

And this is my last trying at sewing, and it's not so bad in flesh:
E la mia ultima fatica di cucito , avevo bisogno  di una borsa nuova per portare il pranzo in ufficio, fatta con una tovaglia di plastica, con una stampa vintage francese.

 

I needed a new bag to carry my lunch at work, so I used a plastic tablecoth fabric, with French vintage images on it. The only issues were the handles, not very happy with them.
Facilissima da fare, e sono pure andata dritta con le cuciture, un successone...solo le maniche non mi convincono tanto!

2013 Calendar-June/Giugno

Feltro!! Quanto tempo che non feltravo? Su CraftBarn questa settimana il tema è calendario dell'avvento (Natale e' ormai alle porte, state cominciando i preparativi?) e l'uso del feltro.
