Katzelkraft week

For Craftbarn this week, dedicated to Katzelkraft, I made an AJ page, with a little altering on it. Some while ago I fell in love with a fashion leaflet attached to a magazine, I set aside it, waiting for the right inspiration, until it came: Modern or vintage lady?

Per la settimana su Craftbarn dedicata alla francese Katzelkraft, ho fatto una paginetta dell'AJ, riutilizzando un volantino trovato su un giornale che mi aveva affascinato. Sono una donna vintage con un cuore moderno, o una donna moderna con un cuore vintage? Mah!

April's Heart

Ed eccoci al cuore di Aprile, si e' capito quanto mi piacciono queste ispirazioni?
Sono partita da un esperimento precedente, Shimmerz and Cosmic sul famoso fluido maschera.
Ho incollato un pezzo di spartito e ho cominciato a ricoprire con la mistura di gesso e bicarbonato:

I started with a piece of heavy cardstock coloured with mists on masking fluid; I glued to it a piece of sheet music and I covered with gesso and baking soda mixture.

Ho aggiunto delle chipboards:
I added some chipboards:

I dried the paste with the heatgun and I started to stamp:
Ho asciugato la pasta con l'embosser e ho cominciato a timbrarla ( qui il passo passo di Lillibulle):

When dry I painted the background with metallic acrylic paints.
Una volta asciutta ho usato dei colori acrilici metallizzati:

I added the mica powders ( can't live without them!)
Ho aggiunto le polveri iridescendi di mica (salvano qualsiasi cosa):

Crafty Individual Jewels

Per la settimana CraftyIndividual su CraftBarn mi sono cimentata con i gioielli, questa volta ho trasformato una insulsa collanina in un bracciale molto crafty. E visto che c'ero, ho creato un piccolo pendant abbinato.

CraftyIndividual, a well-known brand of beautiful vintage stamps, produces also A4 photographic sheets and chipboards. I used them to revamp an old necklace to make a new crafty bracelet and a small pendant. All you need is ... clear tape! Here you can find the step by step.

Ed il tema di questa settimana su CraftBarn e' Mosaico, ed ecco che rispunta il mio famoso specchio rotto, una martellata e via :-). Ed ho pure provato l'emboss a caldo sulla stoffa...funziona!

Take an hammer, a mirror..and just broke it! :-) This week's theme at Craftbarn is Mosaic, and it has been a little challenging for me. What can I invent this time? An idea struck my mind...to use fabric ( and hot embossing on it) , paper and a broken mirror. Hope you like it!

Ho trasformato una efficiente segretaria in una modella, con armadio e tutto ;-)

This week theme's at CraftBarn is leafing/gilding flakes. Like the super-famous song from Spandau Ballet, for me gilding flakes means...Gold!
